I WILL TAKE MY MEASUREMENT FOR SHIRTS
1. Overarm inches

Measure around the chest including the arms at the nipple line with 3 fingers between tape and chest.

2. Chest inches

Place tape measure around the chest at the nipple line, high up under the arms and over the shoulder blades in the back. The tape measure should be snug, so it does not drop down (but not tight) with 3 fingers between tape & body.

3. Waist inches

Wrap the measurement tape around the widest part of the waist . This is usually close to the belly button . Place 3 fingers, between the waist and tape. Assume a normal stance for this please note- your trouser waist and this waist measurement will not be the same.

4. Hip inches

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips with 3 fingers between tape and hip .

Place tape measure on "top" of the shoulders. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder (A) across to the prominent neck bone, located at the centre of the back of the neck (B), continuing to the edge of the right shoulder (C).

6. Sleeve measurement from Center Back inches

Place the tape at centre of the back that is on the spine and take it over your shoulders, to the point where you want your sleeves to end which is usually around 2” below your wrist bone.

7. Sleeves measurement from Armhole inches

Place the tape at the shoulder seam and measure down till the desired sleeve length which is around 2” below the wrist bone.

8. Half Sleeve Length from Armhole inches

Place the tape from the shoulder seam and measure till the desired half sleeve length which is around 3” above the elbow.


9. Biceps inches

Measure around the fullest part of the bicep without any fingers in between tape and bicep.


10. Half Sleeve Width inches

Measure your half sleeve width around a shirt,which fits you best.The half sleeve width will be 4 to5 inches more then your actual bicep measurement.


11. Collar inches

WRAP The tape around base of neck with one finger between the neck and tape.

12. Actual Wrist inches

Wrap the measurement tape snug around the wrist and take the measurement with one finger inside you may add ¼” to ½” more if you are wearing a thick watch.

Place the tape measure under the right collar leaf, at the intersection of the front shoulder and neck point. Measure down to desired shirt length.
